Three blokes who are equally passionate about their hoops and doing what they can to create pathways and opportunities for young people to fulfil their potential.

 

Way back in the early nineties hoops tragic David Bartlett was sitting courtside at the Derwent Entertainment Centre to see two young skinny players make their NBL debut for the Hobart Tassie Devils.  Those players - Mark Nash and Anthony Stewart - went on to win a combined three NBL Championships and play over  900 professional games in Australia's National Basketball  League.  Fast forward about 30 years and we find the same three blokes building Swisherr Hoops Academy.   Our purpose is to build, grow and inspire pathways for young people through basketball.
